When you receive a quotation from us this is valid for 30 calendar days from date of issue.

Reserve your date

After we send you the quotation we will reserve the date for a maximum period of 24 hrs only, this allows you the time to read over our terms & conditions carefully to ensure you are happy with them before making a booking with us.

After the 24 hr period expires, the date will be released back in to my diary automatically without notification to you.   Please note for rush orders this option is not available, and  an  immediate deposit is required to make a booking.

Rush Orders

Rush orders are classed as cakes required 14 days or earlier before delivery/collection date, and we can only make a booking with you  if we have space available in our diary to accommodate you,  we do not charge extra for rush orders, unless this creates additional expenses to ourselves, but we will advise if this is the case at time of order or within 24 hrs of booking. 

Placing an order

Please be aware that if you wish to go ahead with the cake order, please check if your date is still available (only if outside the 24 hr quotation period) before paying any deposit to us, as your date may no longer be available to book.

Cake Consultations

We only offer cake consultation on cakes over the value of £200, there is a consolation charge of £25 which would be required to be paid upfront in order to book a consolation date, this however would be taken off the cake balance should you wish to book with us, otherwise it is non-refundable.

The cake consolation lasts for approx. 1 hour and would consist of a cake tasting, it is however limited to 2 people to attend the consultation

Payment due Dates

When placing a cake order you will be required to pay the deposit within 24 hrs of receiving the quotation, in order to secure your date, then the final cake balance is due 2 weeks before collection/delivery date for celebration cakes, and 6 weeks before collection/delivery date for wedding cakes.

It is very important to please keep a note of the date in your diary to remind yourself when the final payment  is due, as no reminder will be sent to chase up payment.  On celebration cakes if the final balance has not been paid within  10 calendar days, on wedding cakes it is 28 calendar days of the collection/delivery date,  the order will be cancelled and all monies paid will be retained by us to cover out of pocket expenses, and loss of business for that date.

Cake Deposits

If you wish to place an order you must first pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your date, (please see deposit table below as to what you should pay)  Please note that no order is confirmed until the deposit has been received, and confirmed by us.

You will be advised about allergenic ingredients of your cake in compliance with the FSA food allergens advice. Allergenic information will be clearly labelled which is attached to the inside front of the box.  

Please advise me of any allergies ingredients that you would prefer me to avoid at the time of ordering so that I am aware of it. Whilst I can do my best to accommodate intolerance’s, I cannot guarantee that cakes are completely allergen free.

I work in a kitchen which uses gluten, dairy, nuts, and other allergens. If you require a more comprehensive list of ingredients or suppliers, please message me, I will gladly assist you.

 If you or someone who will be consuming the cake has a serious allergy, please note I will, with regret, refuse your order as I will not be able to assist you.

Storage of your cake

Cakes should be stored in a dry place, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat, and kept in the box provided. They should NOT be refrigerated.  After the cake as been cut wrap in clingfilm or store in an airtight container and store in a cool place away from heat sources.

Non – Edibles Items

Our cakes may contain non-edible items on or in the cake.  We will let you know which items are not edible, in the cake information sheet supplied with the cake.  It is your responsibility to ensure that they are removed before serving the cake, as we cannot be held responsible if someone is injured.  Please beware all of our stacked cakes contain supports in each tier, and these should be removed before consumption.

Cake Toppers/Figures

If your cake contains figures made from sugar paste, whilst edible, we do not advise that they be eaten, due to the possible presence of dowels for reinforcement. All of our figures are handmade, and therefore, whilst we try to capture the characteristics of a particular person if requested (such as with eye color, hair color, hair length, glasses etc), we cannot guarantee a true likeness. It is your responsibility to provide images for our reference. If images are not provided standard figures shall be used.

 Cake Serving Size

Cakes sizes are quoted are in inches and are based on the diameter of the cake.  Our cakes  are 3 to 3/2 inches deep as standard.  If you require a deeper cake this needs to be requested at time of booking, and will incur additional charge.  All our cakes are based on a serving size of  1” x 2” slice.

Installment Plans

Installments can be paid at any time towards the cost of your cake, please arrange at time of booking if you would like to set up an installment schedule or contact me at any time to make a payment. It’s not a credit agreement, there are no hidden charges or associated costs.

Changes to cake order

Please note that no changes to the cake order including date change can be made if within the 14 days prior to cake collection/delivery date, any changes requested is not guaranteed and is subject to approval.   If the changes are approved please be aware this may incur additional charges to you, if this happens we will issue a fresh quotation.

Cake Designs

We cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artists work, but we will ensure the look is of a similar design.  Where colour swatches are provided we will do our best to match as close as we deem possible, exact colour matches are not guaranteed.

Obsolete Items

From time to time certain materials for our cakes may become obsolete.   This is totally out with our control; however we will do our best to select replacement products to reflect the original design as closely as possible.  We reserve the right to replace the items with component parts of equal or better quality without consolation.

Fresh Flowers

Fresh flowers are not included in the cost of any cake design. If a  cake is to be dressed with fresh flowers, these should be provided by your florist. Please be aware that certain flowers are not suitable for use as a cake decoration. Please ask your florist for details regarding toxicity.  Premier Cake Creations will not be liable for contamination that may arise from their misuse.

Cake Setups

For cakes that are over 3 tiers we recommend, we deliver and setup the cake to prevent any damage to the cake, as some cakes may also need assembled on site, please note that charges for this service do apply, so please ask for a quotation at time of order. 

When delivering to a venue, we will contact the venue in advance to arrange a mutually convenient time for delivery. If we set up the cake we shall take a photograph of the cake before leaving and, where possible, obtain a signature from the venue confirming the cake has been received in good condition. Should the venue need to set up the cake themselves we shall explain how the cake is to be displayed and where possible obtain a signature to verify we have done so.  Once the cake has been delivered we are unable to accept and liability for any damage sustained to the cake thereafter nor any failure to follow the instructions provided.

Expiry Date

Please be aware that all our cakes have a strict 5 day shelf life, unless notified in writing to advise otherwise,  we will not issue any refunds if a cake becomes inedible after this expiry date.

Transporting your cake

Please follow these guidelines below

  1. Clear space in your boot, and make sure that nothing can slide or fall on to the cake
  2. Keep cake level at all times, never put your cakes on seats as they are not level.
  3. Drive carefully and avoid bumps/pot holes etc.
  4. On hot days never have your cake in direct sunlight, and have your air conditioning on, and you must never have the cake in the car any longer than 20-30 mins.

 Cake Repair Service

If a cake has been damaged by yourself, we can, if available to do so repair the cake for you, but please be aware there is a charge for this service, the repair cost will depend on how much damage as been done to the cake, so please get in touch for a quotation.  Please be aware this only applies to our cakes, we will not repair cakes made by anyone else.

Delivery/Collection of cakes

Please note when an order has been delivered or collected, we take no responsibility for any damage caused to the cake after you have left our premises.

Delivery  Information

Delivery Charges

If you require a cake to be delivered you must notify us at time of order, to check if we have any delivery slots available.  If we can deliver your cake we charge a 75p per mile delivery charge, which includes the return journey mileage as well (for example you live 12 miles away, you will be charged 24 miles in total for the delivery). 

Delivery Times

We do not offer specific delivery times, if you wish a delivery you need to have someone over the age of 18 years old to accept the cake, between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm, however we will try to let you know on the day if it likely to be a am or pm delivery, but again this is not guaranteed but only an estimate.

Delivery Guarantee

Please note that no delivery is guaranteed;  as we may not be able deliver due to situations out with our control (see acts of god clause)

Acts of God

 Please note that if we are unable to deliver your cake due to bad weather, or any situation out with our control, we will notify you as soon as possible, and you will need to arrange collection of the cake, we will refund the delivery charges back to you within 24 hrs of notification, please note we will not be held responsible for any out of pocket expenses this may cause you.

Cake collection times

Please see the standard collection times below (may be subject to change).   The collection address is  35 Pine Crescent, Greenhills, East Kilbride, G75 9HJ.  It is important that you arrive within these times, as we might not be available after these times for you to collect your cake, and a new date time will need to be agreed.  If you are lost or running late then please telephone us on 07411 458961 to keep us updated, and offer directions if required.

Cancelling your order

If you wish to cancel your order, you will be subject to the following terms, these are non-negotiable.  Your order can be transferred to another date, but only if you have given us a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice to do so.

If we need to cancel your cake order

If for any reason we need to cancel your cake order for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid within  24 hrs of notifying you of cancellation, we will endeavor to locate another cake maker to fulfill the order, if however we are not able to do so, we will not be liable for any out of pocket expenses that may have been incurred by this cancellation.

Cake Proof

Where possible, at some point the day prior to cake collection/delivery we will send you a picture of the cake, so that you can check that all details on the cake are correct as per the agreed cake design, if a photo has not been sent the day prior, then when you arrive to collect your cake you will be given a chance to check over the cake, to make sure you are happy with the cake before leaving our premises.

If you are unhappy with the cake visually for any reason, you must advise us while still on our premises, so that we can rectify any issues with the cake that there may be,  after you leave with the cake, we will take this as you are 100% happy with the cake, and will not issue any refunds at a later time/date with regard to the visual look of the cake such as (wording, colour, height, design etc).

Cake Photos

All cakes are photographed before collection and the original files are referenced and stored as proof of good practice. All designs and intellectual property rights remain the property of Premier Cake Creations. I reserve the right to use images of your cake for any form of advertising including web-based promotions, brochures, galleries and competition.

Please be aware the cake photo can be published on my page and social media sites any time after collection/delivery of the cake, so if you need us to hold posting any pictures of the cake until after your event, then please let us know at time of collection/delivery.

Complaints Procedure

If you have a complaint you wish to raise, you must email us within 24 hrs of receiving the cake, we can only deal with the person who placed the cake booking, we will not enter in to any verbal or written communication with any other person.

Cake Design Issue

Many minor complaints regarding the decoration of celebration cakes can be easily repaired (human error can and does happen occasionally), so please point out any errors of this nature on collection to give me the opportunity to correct them, as no refunds will be given at a later date/time after you have received the cake. 

You are given the option of a “sneak peek” photograph before delivery and set up. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check that this meets with their requirements and to raise any discrepancies immediately

Cake Quality Issue

Where the complaint is regarding the quality of the cake, then at least  ¾ of the cake must be returned to Premier Cake Creations within 24 hours of collection or delivery to ensure I am able to assess the nature of the complaint fairly and in a timely manner.

If you choose to take your cake to a third party for repairs or alterations without prior consent, your warranty is immediately invalidated and you will not be entitled to refund or compensation, as I will not be held responsible for work another person has undertaken. 

 Damage to cake

No refund will be given if  any defect is found in the cakes arising from wilful damage, accident, negligence by the customer or any third party, if you use the cake in any way other than that which Premier Cake Creations recommended, or the Customer’s failure to follow any instructions provided, or any alterations carried out by a third party.

Negative Comments

Both Parties which include friends and/or family members agree to not post any negative comment about the other arising out of this Contract or Event, on any social media platform or website without providing advance written notice of the intended content thereof, and providing the other party with a prior opportunity to resolve any issues between the parties amicably.


At Premier Cake Creations we  take your privacy seriously.  The information that we gather from you via any social media contact, in person or at wedding consultations, by email or by telephone) may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, the date of your event, and the delivery address of your event if applicable.  

We do not share or sell your information to any third party, and only those directly involved in the processing of your order will have any access to the information as discussed above. Once your order is complete, we do not store your information in any form of database, it is not kept any longer than necessary for my records, and it is destroyed in a responsible manner.  This privacy policy has been updated in line with the new GDPR legislation which came into force on 25th May 2018.

Abusive Behavior

Please note we will not tolerate any abusive, aggressive or threatening behavior towards us, if this happens we will cancel your order with immediate effect and all monies will be retained by us,  only if within 14 days of the collection/delivery date for celebration cakes, and 4 weeks for wedding cakes, out with this period of time we will only keep the deposit.    In extreme cases of aggression or threats to us we will notify the police immediately  to pursue a prosecution against you.

General Terms

This Agreement together with Order Confirmation documents provided constitute the entire agreement and understanding between the Parties relating to the order. Except as may be expressly stated in this Agreement, it supersedes and cancels all prior agreements, statements, representations, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written, between the Parties.  Each of the Parties acknowledges and agrees that in entering into this Agreement it has not relied on (or been induced to enter into this Agreement by) any statement, representation, warranty or understanding made prior to this Agreement.

Nothing in this paragraph excludes any liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.  In the event that any one or more such provisions of this Agreement should be deemed to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceable shall not affect the validity and enforceable of the remaining valid and enforceable provisions thereof which shall be construed as if such invalid or unenforceable provisions had not been inserted. The Parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.  Any headings utilized in this Agreement have been inserted for the convenience of reference only and in no way should restrict the construction of the Terms and Conditions hereof.
